What to Expect
1
Detailed History
Our physiotherapy appointments begin with detailed conversations to understand your concerns and symptoms. We will review your medical and surgical history, along with your lifestyle, daily activities and any other factors that may be influencing or contributing to your condition or concerns.
2
Whole-Body Assessment
Injuries and pain are often influenced by more than one area of the body. Your assessment takes a whole-body approach to understand the bigger picture and how different regions may be contributing to your symptoms and function. Because issues are rarely isolated, effective treatment often looks beyond the immediate area of pain to address underlying movement patterns and contributing factors.
3
Create a Plan Together
Once your assessment is complete and we have a better understanding of the factors contributing to your symptoms, we’ll work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan based on your goals.
4
Treatments
Treatment may include a combination of hands-on therapy, targeted exercises, movement retraining, and education to support your recovery. The focus is on addressing both the symptoms and the underlying causes.
5
Follow-Up Sessions
During follow-up sessions, we’ll monitor your progress and adjust your plan as needed to ensure it continues to align with your goals and how you’re responding to treatment.
